Precision engineering behind every keystroke
SharpX led the circuit and PCB layout development for Nomad, a BLE mechanical keyboard designed for makers who won't compromise on feel or flexibility.
The build called for advanced electronics inside a compact footprint: multi-device Bluetooth switching, hot-swappable switch sockets for both ANSI and ISO layouts, a 1.9-inch crystal-clear display, tactile rotary encoders, and a power system engineered for reliable all-day use.
Every schematic and PCB layout followed industry-standard manufacturing protocols from the start — keeping bulk production straightforward and per-unit cost under control without touching the design intent.
